and their members. For this reason, our surveyors are specially trained
in the gathering of evidence and the on-site assessment of exposure
to potential liability. Our associated technical services company,
Peninsular Marine Services, is also careful not to accept instructions
from cargo underwriters and other parties in circumstances which might
result in conflict of interest situations.

pro-active attendance & follow-up
We pride ourselves on a pro-active approach such that although we
are always careful not to exceed our principal's instructions, we
are not "post box" correspondents. Accordingly, we consider it our
job to fully assess all situations so that we may keep our principals
closely advised of developments and then make careful recommendations
as to the options available based on our local knowledge and experience.

Unlike most P&I correspondents, who are listed as either "commercial"
or "legal" representatives, our network is staffed by a well-balanced
team of highly qualified marine lawyers, adjusters and marine surveyors.
Because of this, most of our clients' work can be accomplished "in-house",
without the need to engage separate solicitors or marine technicians.
